Neal Patel, CBA, CVA
Principal and Founder
Neal founded Reliant Business Valuation in 2009. He is currently serving on the Ethics Oversight Board of the National Association of Certified Valuators and is the ex-Chair of the Board of Governors at the Institute of Business Appraisers, and has earned CBA and CVA appraisal designations. Neal graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S in Computer Science. Neal has experience buying, selling and appraising SBA financed businesses for over 15 years.
Rohul Patel, MCMEA
Senior Financial Analyst
Rohul works closely with the team to ensure appraisals are compiled with the highest level of quality. Rohul has completed the CBA business valuation training classes and passed the final exam. He has earned the Master Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser designation through the NEBB Institute. Rohul graduated from Temple University's Fox School of Business with a B.A. in Finance and Management Information Systems.
Kevin Zaballero, CVA
Senior Financial Analyst
Kevin is a team lead responsible for valuation analysis, review, and appraisals, along with work flow management. Kevin joined Reliant in 2013 and currently holds the Certified Valuation Analyst designation from the NACVA. Kevin graduated from La Salle University with a B.S. in Finance.
Robert Vafiadou, CVA
Senior Financial Analyst
Robert’s responsibilities are related to multiple aspects of the valuation process including financial analysis, application of valuation approaches and report review and completion. Furthermore, he is the lead employee responsible for rule of thumb analysis. Robert has earned the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation from the NACVA. He graduated from The College of New Jersey with a B.S. in Management and a minor in Finance.
Yesenia works closely with management on all day to day activities. Her main focuses include managing the order processing department, maintaining client relationships, managing accounts receivables, and handling general office administrative duties. Yesenia has a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Business Administration from Rutgers University. Prior to working with our firm, she had over five years of experience working for small businesses.
Rob serves as an experienced research analyst for business valuations and is charged with quality control for R&D tasks. Rob graduated from The College of New Jersey with a B.A. in Psychology and is currently pursuing a Master's in Social Work at Rutgers, which has granted him a unique perspective with regard to business organization, employee development, and consumer perception.
Matt is involved in many aspects of the valuation process. Matt joined the Reliant team in 2014 after graduating from The College of New Jersey with a B.S. in Economics. In addition to being the office "Excel guy" Matt works as a financial analyst.
Tim developed an enthusiasm for valuation while earning his B.S. in Finance at The College of New Jersey. This interest led him to a role as a financial analyst at Reliant where he now performs in-depth analysis of financial statements and compiles appraisal reports. Tim is currently pursing the CVA accreditation in order to further his valuation expertise.
Research Analyst / Tangible Assets
Mike conducts in-depth industry and economic research for business valuations. In addition to business valuations, he also conducts research for equipment appraisals. Mike graduated from The College of New Jersey with a B.A. in Political Science and a Minor in Economics.
Sandra works on the processing end of appraisal orders. She reviews and gathers the necessary documents to commence the reports. She also manages the internal business valuation questionnaire for each subject business. Sandra graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Spanish and is currently pursuing a law degree at Drexel University.
Ben's responsibilities are primarily related to financial analysis within the valuation process. Ben became interested in business valuation after studying the subject in college and joined Reliant in the spring of 2017. Ben graduated from The College of New Jersey with a B.S. in Finance and a Minor in Accounting.
Matthew is involved in many aspects of the valuation process. Matt graduated from Seton Hall University with a B.S. in Finance.
Senior Research Analyst
Charisse is part of the Research Analyst team and is responsible for collecting data, analyzing information, and conducting extensive research for various industries. She has over 14 years of retail management experience prior to joining the firm. Charisse was on the Dean’s List and graduated cum laude from Devry University with a B.S. in Technical Management with a concentration in Accounting.
William conducts in-depth industry and economic research for business valuations and also assists with internal business valuation questionnaires. William graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.A. in Economics. William has experience as a Teaching Assistant for the University of Rhode Island, and has also interned at the McGuire Air Force Base where he worked closely with Human Resources.
Todd conducts in-depth financial analysis within the valuation process. Todd became interested in valuation after studying the topic intensely as an undergraduate. Todd graduated magna cum laude from The College of New Jersey's Honors Program with a B.S. in Finance and a minor in Actuarial Science.
Michelle conducts in-depth industry and economic research for business valuations and assists with marketing. She graduated cum laude from Rowan University in three years with a B.S. in Marketing and enjoys giving back to the community.
Patricia is involved in many aspects of the valuation process. Pat graduated from Monroe College and earned both a B.B.A and an MBA (Finance).
